Sam had a big project in school this past week.
He had to invent an animal that lived in the rainforest biome, draw the animal, write a report on the animal, make a poster about the animal, and dress up like the animal and give a speech about it at the "school wax museum."
We spent a lot of time working on this project, and Sam did all of it on his own.
I was so proud of him. It was a LOT of work!
He invented the DeKonga. It is a brown furry animal, with sharp claws. You can see the claws Sam made in the picture.
I was able to go to the wax museum and see Sam in action a couple days ago.
He was so excited about it, and he said that he had 43 kids push his button (which means he had to tell them his speech about his animal).
He had a blast.
Good ol' school projects.
