WAY TO GO BEN!!!!!!

After a year of working his tail end off and putting in some hard effert, we just found out today that Ben made PRESIDENTS CLUB!!! It is a big deal within his company to do this, and it is very difficult to hit such a high number.
I am so proud of Ben. We are way excited for our free trip to the Bahammas he earned!!!! WAHOO!
Even better....it will be just the two of us! The kids get to spend some good time with grandma and grandpa. ;) Rock on!

GOOD JOB BEN...WE LOVE YOU!!!!!

This is the resort we will be staying at. Pretty cool huh!

THE MOMENT HAS ARRIVED!!

As a lot of you know, we have been waiting for Ben's final transfer interview to see if we will be moving or not, well....drum roll please!!!

HE GOT THE JOB AND WE WILL BE MOVING TO.....

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO!!!!

We are so excited we can hardly stand it! We can't wait to have a house and a YARD! We are also very excited for a much lower cost of living, the gorgeous mountains everywhere (we will be sure to use those every chance we get) lots of members, a good job for Ben, and some family close by. Ben was there for a few days and says that it is totally "our style." I guess we will find out for sure as time goes on, but I have a hunch he is right on.
We know, without a doubt, that this is where we are supposed to be, and we feel it in our hearts. We have known all along that the Lord has a place for us, and now we know where it is. We don't know how long we will be there, but we do plan on settling right in and planting some seeds. We have no intention of a short-term stay, but as we all know, we are in the Lords hands...anything is possible.
Of course, we will miss it here in California. We have made friends here and we have had so many experiences that have helped make us who we are. We have grown so much in this place! We have enjoyed our time here and we have made the most of it for sure!
But, life goes on and we are so excited! We don't have the move date set yet, but we do plan on moving within the month.

Jelly Belly Factory

So,
While Ben was in Colorado Springs interviewing, the kids and I stayed with Ben's brother and his wife and kids. They live close to Fairfield, so we went to the Jelly Belly Factory. It was soooooo awesome! There is only one factory in the whole world, so we felt pretty neat. We timed it perfect. We got front row parking, first in line for the tour, and we were the only ones in the sample line, so we got to sample all the jelly bellies we wanted to!
The factory is set up so cute and it smells great! Sam had a blast and Mary loved all the samples. Sam doesn't look happy in the pictures because he wanted more candy, but he did have a great time. There was a lot of jelly belly artwork there, so I took a nice picture of our Governor. It took 6 months to make and it is totally made out of Jelly Bellies. There are TONS of pictures throughout the factory made completely out of jelly bellies.
We had a great time and it was well worth the trip. The air conditioning was also a nice perk...it has been over 100 here this week and we have been dying! Way to hot for me.
Needless to say, we love the jellybelly factory and we came back with some great souveneres and a HUGE bag a belly flops (jelly bellies that aren't shaped perfectly, so we got them 1/2 price)...they sure taste the same though and we love the name!

More of us

So, as I was looking at our blog, I realized that we don't really have a good updated photo of Sam. I had Ben toss him up in the air and snapped a picture. Mary saw this happen and decided that she wanted to take a picture of Ben and I, she actually did a great job!
I also decided to take a picture of Mary doing gymnastics. She has this freakish strength which is turning out to help her be a very good gymnast. She loves it too!

Still figuring this all out

Hey everyone out there, so we decided to try this blogging thing again. We are still here in California and really enjoying it. We have been here for a year now. Mary is three and Sam is 14 months! Life with two kids is crazy, but really fun. We have had a lot of fun adventures here and we are making memories.
We are soooooooo excited for our trip to Idaho in two weeks! We will get to see our families! I haven't seen some of my siblings for a year, so I can't wait.
Mary is in gymnastics and preschool and is loving both. She is nuts and has so much energy. After an hour of gymnastics she is still begging to run around and play at the park. She has an enormous vocabulary and has us laughing all the time.
Sam is mr. mellow, but he can hold his own. He is a sweet little guy and hopefully someday will grow a little. He is beginning to talk and he thinks Mary is the best thing ever created.
I (Becky) am now doing Mary Kay and it is AWESOME!!! I love it! It has been a great business for me to do, because I can make money, while making friends, while playing with makeup, and all the while, I can still be a mom and keep whatever schedule I want. It is great! Other than that, I am home holding down the fort.
Ben is flying out to Colorado Springs for a final job interview/transfer. If all goes well, we will be moving there and we are really really really excited! Wish us luck! He is doing AWESOME with cintas, and he may have just made president's club wich means an all paid for trip to the bahammas for us. WAHOO!!!
Thats about it for us at the moment. Hopefully these pictures post.
