soccer, soccer, soccer

Sam just finished up the fall soccer season.  He isn't a super aggressive little bugger, but he loves to play defense, and even more, he just loves the fact that his best friend was on his team this year.

Sam finally got a flair for soccer, and even practiced it out in the street after school.  He is our "individual sport"/X games kid (he is amazing on his bike and on snow skiis), so it was great to see him excited about a team sport.  He would go out during warm ups and kick the ball as hard as he could in to the goal, over, and over, and over again. 

He did great this year, and had a fun time.  After his last game, his first question was, "when does spring soccer start?
