When The Going Gets Tough....

...The tough get going.

New job, new baby and a bitter/sweet move. Need I say more?

I guess I will.

In less than 48 hours, the three kids and I will be driving out of the driveway, away from our home, and down Ramblewood Drive for the last time. I will be leaving a piece of my heart behind. My heart has been aching for a few days now, and I am very very sad to leave this place we have come to love so dearly. This place we call home. A place of so many memories, friends, experiences and love. It will not be an easy goodbye. It is the hardest move I have ever done.

At the same time, however, I have slowly been feeling this chapter of our lives here closing, as our lives in Utah have already begun to open. I am excited to see what this new phase will bring to us. This move is the will of the Lord, so I have faith and peace.

I have packed almost the whole house this past week (somehow I was able to do it with two kids and an infant), but Ben will still have a lot to do in the next two weeks. The kids and I will arrive in Utah Thursday night. Friday morning at 10:00, my brother will be getting married. The wedding will be followed by a luncheon and then the reception that night. It will be a HUGE day. I am very nervous to do it all with three kids and no Ben, but I will have lots of help.

We head to Pocatello the next morning and another reception will be that night in my parents backyard. Then the next week will be the family reunion.

The kids and I will stay in Pocatello until August 1st. On that day, we will meet Ben in Utah at our new house and begin unpacking and starting our lives there. Ben begins working the next day. Mary begins kindergarten that week as well.

We have a very busy month ahead of us, and we have had a lot of change to deal with, but the Lord is on our side.

There have been and will be tears, but we will keep moving forward.

And with those tears, I will finally say....Goodbye beloved Colorado. Our hearts are tied here forever. We will miss you more than words can relay.

We're going to miss you, too. Are you coming to playgroup tomorrow? If you don't want to take Will out, I'd love to swing by and pick up Mary if she'd like to come along with us. I'll call you in the morning!

Hey Becky, I don't know if you know me, but I'm pretty sure you know my husband from Highland. Anyway, from time to time I have noticed your blog on Katie's or Darci's and I like to stay updated. I always seem to find myself captivated by your blog! You have such an adorable famiy and a beautiful way of writing things down. Anyway, hope you're not too creeped out by me stalking you!! Congrats on the new baby, the move, the new job, etc. We love Utah!!
