Hooray For Fall!!!!

Just wanted to say that WE LOVE FALL!!! Fall is by far the best and most favorite time of year in our house. We love the cold air. There is nothing like a crisp cool day topped off with soup, some baked yummy fattening, sugary pastry, hot chocolate and the smell of some sort of spice candle to top it all off.

Fall is the beginning of so many fun things! Anyone who knows me, knows that I am a holiday fanatic...freak actually. Truly! If I had endless amounts of $$ our home would be decorated from top to bottom and inside out with holiday decorations. Cool decorations...not ones that are just thrown all over...but cool ones, that look neat. For now, I am just slowly getting a collection...hopefully a really really big one!

We love the beginning of so many awesome holidays and lots of Birthdays in our family as well. We love the gorgeous colors of the trees and the many many many drives through beautiful mountains. We love anticipating the snow and the cinnamon rolls that always come with the first snowfall. We love not being hot anymore. We love football games, snuggling by the fireplace, the beginning of school, warm snuggly sweaters and cute hats. We love anticipating family gatherings and making wonderful memories.
WE LOVE IT ALL...HOORAY FOR FALL!!!

It snowed in Boise yesterday! First of the season. I made homemade soup, wassail and lit a great candle. Tomorrow maybe we'll have a fire! Love the changes in the seasons.

I feel for you when you talk about finding out stuff reading blogs that makes you wonder... it's happened to me too. We have a SMALL branch so it's hard when you start reading blogs and realize someone had a big party and didn't invite you. Then there's pictures to document all the fun. Yeah, it stinks... but I've probably done the same thing to someone else without knowing it.

I know what you mean about the friend department.
High School is long gone but somehow we can still get offended just like the old days.
It's made me appreciate my best friend (my husband) and my family a whole lot more, because I know they will never leave me.

If I haven't told you yet... Your kids are the most adorable little things I have ever seen.

First, your post about having kids was hilarious. Second, glad I'm not the only one who feels like all the moms are going to the zoo together without me. Congrats on the run, I seriously admire you for being able to do that.

Your are simply amazing, always have been, always will be!! I really honestly don't know how anyone couldn't like you, but I know it's easy to feel like that. It's been especially hard since we moved and I don't really know anyone. Your post about kids is hilarious--but you know we will miss it someday!

Fun blog, Becky! I love the family photos you had done. Did someone here in Colorado Springs take them? VERY cute! See you tonight!

Sorry to hear you're feeling left out....once I start feeling like a human being again, we'll have to do something! We've been meaning to reciprocate on the FHE invitation -- I promise we haven't forgotten you!

just checking in - i don't know HOW IN THE WORLD you can run 15 miles without being DEAD when you get back. Amazing...
Thank you SO much for letting Cameron come eat with you on Sunday. I can't believe how lonely he was without us here. It really meant a lot to him and to me beacause it made his Sunday so great. So thanks
