So,
While Ben was in Colorado Springs interviewing, the kids and I stayed with Ben's brother and his wife and kids. They live close to Fairfield, so we went to the Jelly Belly Factory. It was soooooo awesome! There is only one factory in the whole world, so we felt pretty neat. We timed it perfect. We got front row parking, first in line for the tour, and we were the only ones in the sample line, so we got to sample all the jelly bellies we wanted to!
The factory is set up so cute and it smells great! Sam had a blast and Mary loved all the samples. Sam doesn't look happy in the pictures because he wanted more candy, but he did have a great time. There was a lot of jelly belly artwork there, so I took a nice picture of our Governor. It took 6 months to make and it is totally made out of Jelly Bellies. There are TONS of pictures throughout the factory made completely out of jelly bellies.
We had a great time and it was well worth the trip. The air conditioning was also a nice perk...it has been over 100 here this week and we have been dying! Way to hot for me.
Needless to say, we love the jellybelly factory and we came back with some great souveneres and a HUGE bag a belly flops (jelly bellies that aren't shaped perfectly, so we got them 1/2 price)...they sure taste the same though and we love the name!
